The questions everyone asks

Is the online price the final price?

No, and anyone who tells you otherwise off a satellite photo is having you on. It's a guide based on the shape you traced and what you've told us is underneath. Reece checks levels, drainage, access and the sub-base on site, then gives you a fixed written price.

How accurate is the satellite measurement?

Close enough to price from, as long as the photo is recent and you trace the edges carefully. Trees, shadows and older imagery can hide the real edge — which is exactly why every job still gets a proper survey.

Do you lay resin over an existing drive?

No. We dig out and build a proper base. Laying over something that's already moving is how drives fail two winters later, and we'd rather turn a job down than do it that way.

Do I need planning permission?

Front gardens over 5 m² in England generally need a permeable surface, or drainage to a lawn or border, to avoid needing permission. Resin bound on an open base is permeable. Reece will advise on the right build-up for your drive.

How soon can you start?

We're usually booked around three months ahead. Better you know that now than find out after you've picked your stone. Surveys are much sooner, and once you've got a fixed price you can take a slot in the diary.

Am I going to get pestered?

No. You'll get your price, and a call to sort the survey if you asked for one. That's it.
